What kind of tech stuff do you do?

Techs can do big things too!

Last night Drew and I were jamming together, yes techs do other things besides tech, Drew on guitar, myself on bass, to one of our favorite songs:
One Way By Hillsong United. (Chords and lyrics below)
I can't get this all to work right, so here is a picture of the sheet music so you can get a general idea of where everything goes:

ONE WAY Joel Houston and Jonathon Douglas

That really is a cool song. But sometimes I'm bothered a bit by parts like:

"In troubled times it's you I seek
I put you first that's all I need
I humble all I am, all to you...

you're the only one that I could live for..."

I suppose it's because too often in troubled times it's not God I seek...and more often it's me that I put first, not God.

and I feel dishonest singing, "you're the only one that I could live for", because all too often I live for myself.

I just sometimes have trouble singing songs like these....songs that focus more on what I've done for God, rather than what God has done for me...what he did on the cross.

Sorry to preach so long!:) Just something to think about.

Techie Thoughts

Next time you see a tech, thank the tech for what they do.
