A Tech Nightmare

This past Friday, my church had an event that was going to be outside!
Everything was normal, except for the fact that it might rain. I was
setting up a sound system for a band that would play outside during the event.

Then my worst nightmare began:

As I was setting up, it started to rain.
My tech buddies and I started grabbing the equipment
and taking it inside! We got it all inside in less than
5 minutes. That was pretty exciting.

How to EAT an elephant!

hmmm....I wouldn't want to kill one, but if someone gave me some elephant meat (skinned and sliced into strips- I'm assuming it's like chicken:), then I would marinate it in some red pepper italian dressing, heat up some olive oil in the big cast iron pan, and toss in the elephant meat with some basil, rosemary and salt. Maybe a sqeeze of lime. Or lemon?

hmmmm.....sound tasty? I'm not so sure:)

How to eat an elephant!

OK: I know this is the most random thought ever but, I am going
to try to explain how to eat an elephant!

1. You must find an elephant! (a smaller one is easier to chew)

2. You must swallow it whole!

3. Clean up! (Warning, do not attempt, death may result.)

Techs are volunteers

Most of the time techs are volunteers, and so they devote a lot
of time into productions and similar things. They take time out of there
day, just to help others.
Techs don't always get the credit they should get, in fact the only
time the tech people get recognized is when they mess up.(Or when they eat an elephant!)

So next time you see a tech, thank the tech for what they do.

Techs can do big things too!
